In 1997 , Grace House’s founder Ann Gilbert had a vision for care of people in need. The vision was to look after frail, elderly people in a Christian family environment, to make them feel valued and loved.
It has been a great learning curve and a time of establishing policies and procedures, fulfilling regulations, so as to provide the best possible service. We have also been led to provide an outreach service, enabling people to stay in their own homes and be independent a little longer.
Grace House is a large house with a beautiful, very large, rear garden. It is in a pleasant residential part of Finchley, close to the shops, park and local amenities.
The Christian Care Trust is regulated by the Charities Commission and the Care Quality Commission. Here’s the relevant information on the Charities Commission’s website.
The Christian Care Trust is overseen by a board of trustees. Grace House’s registered manager is Simon Ellerby and our care manager is Alison Peters. Our team of carers have many years of experience at Grace House.
